Tafelkreide (German for blackboard chalk) is available for Mac OS, OS X, and Windows.
Design is European handwriting; caps only. Works best in large point sizes, white on black. See samples!
Formats available are TrueType and PostScript (Mac OS 9 and OS X), and TrueType (Windows).
For Mac OS 9, two separate fonts are included, Tafelkreide (standard Western encoding) and Tafelkreide CE (East European encoding); PostScript and TrueType. Both fonts work also with OS X.
For Mac OS X and Windows, the font is available in an OpenType PS and in a TrueType Unicode version, with a single font file supporting both platforms.
Unicode character set for OS X and Windows covers all European languages (Latin 1/Mac Roman, Eastern European/Mac CE, Baltic, Turkish, Icelandic, Welsh, Romanian, Maltese) plus selected additions.
Unicode blocks: Basic Latin, Latin-1 Supplement, Latin Extended-A, Latin Extended-B (partly), Latin Extended Additional (partly).
